Join Puppet Manualfesto as it celebrates short-form puppetry and community, embracing a multitude of performance aesthetics. If it involves puppetry, mask work or object theatre we want to see and share it with everyone else. A night filled with 2 to 10 minute gems of live puppetry and music between set-ups. Audiences of Puppet Manualfesto will see puppeteers performing edgy and provocative works that won't be seen in mainstream venues. Content ranges from the raunchy and risqué to the tender and tear-jerking, in a fast moving succession of both rough and polished acts. Watch as artists redefine conventional notions of puppetry. From marionettes to Papier mache mayhem, puppeteers breed new strains of creativity.

To celebrate World Day of Puppetry, Puppet Manualfesto presents an adult-friendly evening at West Philadelphia's Community Education Center. We'll present a showcase of short puppetry vignettes in the Meeting House Theater - 3500 Lancaster Avenue.
